This morning, before our arrival, a light breakfast snack will be served onboard the plane. After passing through custom formalities and collecting our luggage at the Dublin Airport, we will be met by our tour guide Jim West and our coach driver, who will take us on a PANORAMIC TOUR OF DUBLIN. Wednesday, June 20th

Following a hearty Irish breakfast, we will board our coach and drive to the Garden of Ireland, COUNTY WICKLOW. We leave the city behind and head for the heathery hills of the Wicklow Mountains that spring up at the edge of Dublin’s southern suburbs. We will drive through ENNISKERRY to GLENDENDALOUGH where St. Kevin founded his 6th Century monastic settlement. We will spend some time walking around the ruins and remains of the old church and cemetery before boarding our motor coach and traveling to the town of AVOCA. Here we will see a sample of the Irish textiles with a visit to a weaving and spinning mill. There will be time to enjoy shopping and lunch on our own before we drive back to Dublin. The remainder of the evening is at your leisure. B

Thursday, June 21st

This morning, following breakfast, we will check out of our hotel and drive to the beautiful town of KILLARNEY. Along the way, we will stop in BLARNEY, where we will have an opportunity to have lunch on our own and shop in the Blarney Woolen Mills, famous for Irish crystal, china, linens, woolen clothing and all kinds of wonderful souvenirs. For those who are interested, this is also the stop for Blarney Castle, where, for a nominal fee, you can kiss the famous Blarney Stone. In the afternoon, we will arrive at our hotel and relax. Tonight we will all meet for dinner and settle in for the evening. B, D

This morning following breakfast, we will depart on one of Ireland’s most popular and beautiful drives, the RING OF KERRY. We will drive through the town of KILLORGLIN, famous for the “Puck Fair,” and continue along the coastline of the broad Iveragh Peninsula, through the towns of GLENVEAGH, WATERVILLE, CAHIRCIVEEN and SNEEM. The scenery includes spectacular wind-swept cliffs, still lakes, lost valleys and rocky mountains blended amongst the awesome beauty. As one looks around it is easy to agree with the old Irish saying, “Even if a man has only a small bit of earth here, he has a lot of the heavens.” We will return back to our hotel and the remainder of the evening is free on your own. B

Saturday, June 23rd

Today, following breakfast, we will board our coach and drive around the DINGLE PENINSULA. Truly one of the most photographed areas of Ireland, with breathtaking views of mountains and vistas that boast 40 shades of green. You will soon discover why it is so special to all who visit.
